Traditional Swedish 7-ply construction evolved one step further. Thick 7-ply blades have been used as weapon of fast attackers. But, their shortcoming is hard feel, especially when players want to attack with topspin which is an unnecessary technique of modern table tennis. To fix this problem, new idea was applied to VULCAN. All of three center layers

of VULCAN have the same longitudinal direction. Also the thicknesses of center layers were adjusted for optimal performance and feel. The results are the increase of speed and the reduction of hard feel. The stability of topspin was greatly enhanced, and smash is even more powerful.
