The Stars on the table tennis ball indicate the quality of the tabletennis ball: 3 stars is the highest, indicating that it is of the bestquality, 2 stars is for practice, 1 star is for family and recreation.
Select the color of the table tennis ball based on the floor color. Ifyou are playing on a yellow gym floor, select white balls. Selectorange balls if the floor is red, blue, green etc...

2.3 THE BALL
2.3.1 The ball shall be spherical, with a diameter of 40mm.
2.3.2 The ball shall weigh 2.7g.
2.3.3 The ball shall be made of celluloid or similar plastics material and shall be
white or orange, and matt.
