The force at the impact with the ball is combined with 2 directional forces. Vertical force N creates some speed and helps the horizontal force T to create more spin rotations. In the modern  table tennis game, T force facilitates the most of aggression and power. Speed glue effect enhances T over N. XIOM rubbers in TENSOR and TENSOR BIOS technology also focus on increasing T without speed glue while improving N and energy transfer dynamics at ball impact.

TENSOR technology replacing VOC speed glue effect and booster effect greatly in the last decade. TENSOR BIOS introduced in 2006 reached the level of maximum spin and speed performance without speed glue over TENSOR 1st, 2nd,3rd generation. ZETA for Chinese professionals adopts the new TENSOR BIOS generation which is more stable in dynamics than its original generation. T and N reached the theoretical maximum and exceeded the level of heavily glued or boosted rubbers in average. The consistency in ball trajectory and the precision in ball control are superb if compared with any oter rubbers available.

Customization in real play

The technology itself is not at all complete to satisfy the player's need. To succeed in making final consumer products, the research on the real-play application is a must. Wide variety in stroke habits and playing skills of different player groups require "customization" of the technology to each group. XIOM divided the various play styles into major groups - European and Asian. Developing the final products into 2 different characters is an outcome of our studies over years. Not only 2 versions vary at the sponge hardness but also by the core characters needed by each group.

The Stars on the table tennis ball indicate the quality of the table tennis ball: 3 stars is the highest, indicating that it is of the best quality, 2 stars is for practice, 1 star is for family and recreation.

Select the color of the table tennis ball based on the floor color. If you are playing on a yellow gym floor, select white balls. Select orange balls if the floor is red, blue, green etc...
