The Offensive S

The Offensive S is a traditional European style blade that is tuned to offensive play with a special layer combination of hard and soft wood.  5 ply wood that is slightly thicker than the All Around S blade.   The Offensive S is perfect for players with accelerated shots what want both speed performance and excellent control and feel.   The different wood combination gives both enhanced speed performance combined with superior touch and feel.   Great for players who wish to play modern attack game

 
Novus Classic Series

The Novus Classic Series, designed by Xiom, are a line of table tennis blades that feature superior quality European Hardwood design and know how.  The blades in the series are - Allround -S , Offensive- S and Extreme - S.  These blades l possess natural wood feel that is expected by all around and offensive loopers (who are looking to bolster their games with added consistency and control)  These blades are manufactured using an innovative construction process that utilizes hardwood plies for speed.

New Speed Measure and Standard To Explain The Speed

The traditional terms like OFF- or ALL+ confuse the players to identify the real speed character of a blade. So far the table tennis industry did not use standardized and object measure to explain about the speed. As an example, ALL blade is generally accepted as a 5 ply blade with low rebound and lightweight for allround play. But top players use ALL blades to play very speedy and aggressive games. Swing speed, experience, and rubbers can influence more on the speed character. The speed character cannot be defined by simple rebound height of a ball from the blade surface.

XIOM adopted new metrics to measure a blades performance.  REBOUND MEASURE indicates the repulsion level of construction influenced by hardness, weight, and thickness. HIGH SPEED PERFORMANCE explains the moment reaction of a blade against a high speed ball in real play paradigm
